Executive Assistant

We are looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to our Regional Managing Director Europe and Middle East (EME), and parts of her leadership team. The region consists of 18 countries and approximately 100.000 people making it our biggest region.
The Executive Assistant will consistently prioritize incoming inquiries and tasks to ensure and enable an effective Managing Director workday. You will coordinate and plan day-to-day calendar activities, make travel arrangements and plan events. In this role, you'll engage and collaborate with a diverse array of individuals across all levels of the Compass Group global organization and external stakeholders.

As an Executive Assistant, your workday will consist of a wide range of tasks, such as:
Administrative support for a part of the EME management team
Handling travel arrangements, including visa applications and expense reimbursements
Cultivating strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues across all levels, both internally and externally
Serving as a reliable gatekeeper, adept at handling sensitive information, and making sound judgment calls with exceptional communication skills and tact
Coordination and planning events and gatherings across the EME region
Creating presentations and keeping regular reports up to date
(Digital) participation in meetings, preparing minutes and follow-up on actions
To ensure success in the role we favor candidates who possess:
Higher education (not a requirement)
Experience from working in international organizations, including strong cultural awareness
Experience in administrative work such as project management, event- and/or travel planning
Proficient knowledge of Norwegian work culture and practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Norwegian
